A Lil Island

Off the coast of Nova Scotia, Canada, lies a small island known as Oak Island. This unassuming piece of land has been the center of one of the most enduring mysteries in maritime history – the legend of the Money Pit.

According to the tale, in the late 18th century, three young boys discovered a peculiar depression on the island’s surface. Intrigued, they began to dig, and as they delved deeper, they encountered layers of logs and stone markers, leading them to believe that they were on the trail of a buried treasure.

Over the centuries, numerous treasure hunters, including famed explorers and engineers, have attempted to unearth the supposed riches, only to be met with a series of ingenious traps and elaborate flood tunnels. Despite the relentless efforts and significant excavations, the treasure, if it indeed exists, remains tantalizingly out of reach.

The mystery of Oak Island’s Money Pit has sparked the imagination of explorers and enthusiasts for generations, with theories ranging from hidden pirate loot to ancient manuscripts or even connections to the Holy Grail. To this day, the island continues to lure adventurous souls in pursuit of the elusive fortune, making it a captivating and enigmatic chapter in the annals of island lore.

Back to the real concept now, In  life we create a little island, were we isolate ourselves with what goes around us , we just want the noise to be finally over for a short period of time. Not fully shut but just for until we manage to work our way around things.

We set boundaries, standards and guidelines to point out the dos and donts just in order to buy ourselves time to get our shit straight.

See the boundaries and the artifical island ain’t perfect and to some they may feel like we are selfish and we are anti social never knowing what’s really going on..

To some they are well aware of what’s going on and why there is an island but they are the ones who want to take a boat and come this side, sometimes it’s a good trip but some times it’s for a bad cause to just Lower the gap between the waters and the land.

The problem that arise in our lives create isolation and the isolation is the island, we have different ways of accepting the problem at hand. We accept and draw a way to proceed with tackling the problem.

But to others our ways of solving them may be Alittle kinda different from how they will normally tackle it, and this gap between our way of doing versus the way they will do its what causes conflicts and causing us to dry our islands dry. The words spoken cause us to lower our beliefs on solving our problems in our own ways.

Don’t get it twisted, but there’s power in collaborative problem solving and also there is power in adaptive and solo problem solving, see sometimes problems come our way not to be collaboratively solved.

There is a verse from the Good book that says, when temptations come our way, are within our abilities to be solved by us, this statement alone may help when we’re facing problems only when we believe in it .

With problems comes solutions, with solutions comes experiences and with experience comes sucess, let not your way of dealing with problems be messed up just by the words, action or somebody else’s way of solving problems.

Build or Break

build (/bɪld/)
construct (something) by putting parts or material together.

Similar: construct, erect, put up, assemble, set up, raise, make, fabricate, form, manufacture, create, fashion, model, mould, shape, forge, knock together

Opposite: demolish, destroy,

make stronger or more intense.
“we built up confidence in our abilities”

Similar: boost, strengthen, increase, improve, invigorate, augment, raise, intensify, enhance, escalate, multiply, swell, beef up

the proportions of a person’s or animal’s body.
“she was of medium height and slim build”

Similar: physique, frame, body, figure, form, structure, shape, make-up, formation

All the above is inspired by a line of statement on a very good lovely friend I have, build or break that she wrote on her timeline.

In life we get alot of things that troubles us, I can share what I go through or even If we had a dialogue of what you going through honestly without any secrecy,I know I’ll hear alot from you.

Let’s not talk about that but what you go through can either BUILD or BREAK.

In college, there is an allowance offered by the government to students and most of the students are given the same amount of money for the whole semester. The money comes into two portion.

Most of us we are facing the financial balance difficulties but what makes us going is the fact that there is next time in two months and you’ll get money.

The situation of waiting builds  most of us into a stage of planning and placing of budget so that when the money comes it will be effectively. That’s to most of us

But in life everything may be off balance and everything hitting you may seem new to you and you thinking that everything is after you to break you..

Financial problems, health issues, social troubles, spiritual difficulties and many more these are many in the list of things that can really question  your mentality and make you feel broken.

They say anything that doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, that’s what we should take out of any situation, we are here not for a smooth life, but to be tested and to know our limits.

Inorder to live and reach the point to know our capabilities we have to undergo the processes that will break us into ways we can’t even understand, but it’s in these situations we learn to build ourselves up better and stronger.

The good book says, no challenge comes to you too heavy for you to handle,  and through every challenge there is an exit. We need to build ourselves through challenges.

For the challenges are there to stay, they can’t go away all by them selves but through solving them. Just like building a LEGO one block at a time, so is the same as tackling challenges one problem at a time..

As He teaches

Back in my primary school I remember my grammar school teacher usually had us Energize with some opposites of words.

He would have the class stand up and pick one at random then he starts by saying you what is the opposite of this and that and you’ll earn a seat when you answer the questions

Well back then we hated it and we usually didn’t raise our hands to answer the questions hoping the teacher will get bored and run out of words to ask us. But ooh boy that man had stamina he was always on the clock and he had alot of words for us to answer

So right now I don’t use any opposite in my life or neither do i use the grammar 100% but what I know today i can reflect in alot of lessons that can be derived from the quick stand up.

Some notable guidelines to some lessons are as follow.
1. Expecting the teacher to come and ask questions. See in life we are always in a surprise mode, but so far people are in a stage they even say for the point that life has thrown so much shades on me I can’t be surprised no more. This is not that s/he has gone through it all but it’s that s/he has gone through alot . Alot people of have a hidden story to tell. And all the stories mah all have a same beginning “it was out of no were, I didn’t plan this or I didn’t plan that but it happens and till it happens like that it means that if you didn’t plan for it then you had a different plan and that the opposite happened…
2. Our response some early they raise their hands but some of us we dont. The early response are similar to the way we live our lives some opportunities are randomly popin up always but its some few that make that fast decision and others will take time to take them but others will not take the opportunities at all that’s life. We waited for the teacher but some of us had already sat down earlier…
3. Hope and expectation for him to get bored. I really dont know if this has ever hit you up, you starting feeling a little left out want to life just pass you by, feeling like you’re the only one alone in this whole life passing a certain situation and life cant Get any worse than it was. You hope life will get bored and start being nice to you? If you’re in this just know life never get bored throwing shade its just mother nature making us hard and resilient to its methods.
4. Stamina for his consistency, life will always show you consistency more and more and it will always disappoint us, so life has the teacher’s consistency to throw shades. There is a trending statement good things happen to bad people and bad things happen to good people that’s nature the way to build the boldness out of ourselves.
5. Answers given. Whether we were asked the first round or last every question that the teacher had asked had answers so as life no matter what you going through, nonmatter tough, easy, crazy, logical or illogical then just know, no matter what time is threw at you it has an answer..
6. Topic on the table. The teacher had always had a particular theme he used while asking a question and we would have to tune ourselves into answering the particular theme that was very easy simply because the questions were easily predictable after the theme was known. So in life trying figure what wave to flow with in times of your greatest conflict..

I was told a good teacher teaches how the real world works on his lessons without even saying so, and by reflecting this it has clearly shown me that the teacher planted something positive in the lessons he taught..

Descending triangles

Shapes isn’t really a concept that I can explain so much, but it’s always there and will always be there. Were you see it, it doesn’t matter because its everywhere and I can’t tell you to spot some shapes am not the google not robot verifier.

One thing that had me fascinated was the triangle, I remember one animation they show the power of a triangle has a base and a point direction.

Just from properties if a triangle we can gather alot of lessons from it, be of strong foundation and know where you heading and stuff related to it. But that will be of some other time.

We are in hurt mode, disappointment mode and healing process from alot of things that we have been through, a certain screenshot that was placed in somebody’s status said. “We are coordinated to face alot to learn and have a strong reference point not to give up but to move forward with experience”

Felt the quote but I came and saw that all our lives we have been going process that are similar it’s like we are moving in circles, how you’ll ask? Well its simple let me walk you through this

Once posted that we differ in schooling system but using the Tanzanian grade system, it’s more of 3-7-4-2-3/5 or 3-7-4-3-3/5 format. I know it’s not a football formation it’s more of classes you have to sit to move into next level and we have the primary level, secondary level and tertiary level.

Am not here for flashbacks but am here to tell you that all this long life has taught us about losing, just think of how many people we lost the connection to, from your grade one till now?

It’s a long list of people we lost touch since back then. So life is always telling us life is of a point headed but a bigger start.

Take note that always the beginning will be firm and you can have a clear goal In broad term but as you move on you’ll come to see some vision, people and some clear facts disintegrating to something else. When that happens just know that’s life and the pointy header will always be there

Mind Block

The pass few weeks have been in a state called writer’s block.

imagine it has when you drive or ride a car and you come to a dead end, or a point that you can’t go forward as the way you were going or think you would go.

so by definition given by Google, hehehe writers block is a condition, primarily associated with writing
in which an author loses the ability to produce new work or experiences a creative slowdown. This loss of ability to write and produce new work is not a result of commitment problems or the lack of writing skills. The condition ranges from difficulty in coming up with original ideas to being unable to produce a work for years. Writer’s block is not solely measured by time passing without writing. It is measured by time passing without productivity in the task at hand.

I’ve been falling to this situation not once not twice but more times than i remember and the funny part is that this is not a disease but its a mental state, its all in the head.

I’ve been having titles to many articles and even some of them writings half a paragraph then stuck but others only a single word, which it always works when i have noted down a single word ideas falls through and i start writing down but when in WB I mostly find myself staring at my notepad with no words to write down..

what i wanna show you is in the backstage to all our articles they lay alot of unpublished articles.

Some few times i usually pick my kid brother from school and in his school they have this tap where they drink the water, as i was taking him off school to home i felt thirsty and decided to go drink some water in found a very long line so i decided to join it and off it started to move slowly till it was my turn. as i was moving along it opened my eyes as if the people in front of me and behind me they were all unfinished projects.

they’re unfinished projects until the primary goal of drinking water has been completed, the line showed me i was that all projects were leading to the same goal so i should learn to make them move one at a time and also see them through one at a time not to hesitate. and if it reaches to a point that i should pile them up pile em in a manner that you can work them out to the end to the end.

See in life we come into deadblocks because of just piling alot of things in our plates thinking that its easy to just place them some where but in the end we have alot to handle all because of piling them up.

learn to regulate what is on your plate as what comes in your mind and execute on thing to the end never be fast to procrastinate what you have in your mind.

The 32 you, The 64 you

growing up is never been easy, am sure there a lot of memories you have while you were a kid some you proud of and some you don’t.

That version of tinny you just peeing in bed Everytime that you sleep, the angry you and the parenting lies. (if you sleep in the afternoon you’ll watch tv tomorrow afternoon, not knowing that tomorrow the same scenario continues)

Same applies to school stuff while we were growing up. Don’t end up class seven there are a lot of stuffs you need to know inorder to stand very well financially. so you’ll add up the ordinary level education as form one to form four. when you are done with it you’ll hear them saying add another and so for it goes up to when you get a degree and then you land a job.

landing a job is just as computers executing applications. so there are many operating system (os) but the common one is the windows which has gain it’s market since the early 90s now the version has two architecture that is the 32-bits and 64-bits

in observation apps with 32bits can run in 64bit but vice versa ain’t possible. it’s is the same as a flat screwdriver can open a star screw but star screwdriver can’t open up a flat type screw.

sometimes upgrading what skill you have will play a greater advantage to you, because you’ll be marketable in terms of you can decide for both opportunities that comes that are your level or way below your level.

having the abilities that exceeds the required option gives you room to attain posts that are a lower level than you and the level that you on…

so upgrade and keep on upgrading yourself so as to give your self a firm standing point..

Daily Chores

powered by a long boring travel back home.

Daily chores, there are a lot of chores that we do , these chores can’t be escaped, we repeat em over and over and over. Making coffee or breakfast, lunch and even dinner, washing dishes, laundry and general cleanliness.

In doing these chores sometimes we do everyday or weekly. chores are always there to be done and if we ignore them they always will keep on piling until you have no options but to perform them.

utensils washing to be honest i hate Washing them but everyday we have to wash them now. what I’ve observed it’s that we all have our styles to approach this task.

its by either when we done using the utensil we wash em. that’s use and wash procedure. this is approach one

approach two, wait them to pile up and boom wash it in the morning or after the day has ended.

Now all these approaches are acceptable but we can apply this into real life. sometimes in life we have daily problems and stuff that are generated daily as we live with people around us.

the use utensils (frustrations, depression, anxiety , fears, worries, doubt, dilemma and every other related problems all happen and the two approaches can be used here.

take a moment and evaluate yourself what approach do you use in tackling your problems do you deal with them as they happen or you wait and pile problems to problems ?

i don’t mean to judge or anything but if you are dealing with them as it appears, well and fine. but some of us we wait a problem to have uncles and aunties as we wait on an problem to be huge to carry and handle to such an extent of being a bigger issue to deal with…

so examine your method am not a doctor or therapist to tell you how to deal with your issues, but i once read that ignoring your problems doesn’t mean you have solve your problems. in other words piling up your problems doesn’t mean you have solved them.

the bigger the burden the more you’ll have troubles finish and compiling all of them.

so today want to say evaluate your methods eliminate problems as they come, never let them pile but work your way through problems not running by piling.

We Are Trees II

I know you don’t care but yes i was on a bus while writing this piece and what i recall was my biology class while I was thinking of what the education that I have and how i apply it to the real world.

I recall my biology teacher came in class and started to teach about transpiration and plants ways to do regulation and the terms i remember are like osmoregulation

Now there are four seasons which are summer, winter , autumn and spring. i don’t know much about the weather and that will be geography now.

but this seasons have a specific time or period to take into effect. And during dry season the trees shades it leaves to allow it’s existence to continue.

it’s the only way that it can ensure it total survival. plant losses water through small holes by means of transpiration. blah blah science . All these learnt at school..

in times like dry season the tree shades it’s leaves complete and after while starts afresh.

All these got me thinking of our lives some times we are trees and sometimes we fail to be like trees. we hold on to people draining and undermining our ability, we hold on to toxic people. we hold on to them in the name of not destroying a friendship built for long time.

we hold on to them afraid of starting a fresh with new people. what we hold will surely be the death of us. we should understand that there people in seasons and most of the people we have are just leaves on a big tree.

For our survival we need to let some people that are merely just leaves on a tree to fall off…

what kind of people am i trying to say to you to let them off. Friends that can’t place your name in a room full of opportunity, friends that leave in moment of need, friends who hold you back from success, friend who discourages you not to reach your full potential.

summing it up trees are not told that it’s time to shade off or its time to grow again. they understand their environment and so do we, we are supposed to understand our environment we should know when to grow new friends and when to shade some old friends..

Reference Theorem

You have seen a CV or written one yes ? if so then lets move together on this one.

Read a book and at the end pages you have seen the reference chapter. Yes i take it. Lets move on again!!.

Most of us have what we call models , role model, mentors, councillors and coaches. people that we seek advice and we guidance we term them as oracles or point of view to some real time event and situation.

Okay, while growing up i heard some kids and even adults been kept on check by the reference theorem.

Reference theorem; we can put it as the usage of a comparison or a guidance point. while growing up now our parents made us see and feel that all we can achieve is supposed to be as equivalent to some people who have advanced more than us a single step or more steps ahead of us.

Parents were heard saying you should be ashamed of yourself for doing the opposite of what they had wanted, “look at somebody (the reference) s/he has done a, b, c and d and s/he has a lot and been successful“.

Some of us have been affected with this and we live our whole life thinking we can’t go alone or be our own guide because all our lives have been threatened with other people’s success being rubbed on our Face.
(Angalia mtoto wa mama fulani unaona kasoma hichi kafaulu ).

I’m not here to say its bad to have a point of reference rather to state that; we have to be careful with how we throw ourselves out there towards our references.

I once said “lets live by lessons learnt
not by reference and examples”.

Sometimes we undermine the abilities we have by just minimizing our capabilities through overlooking at them we call references.

Live while understanding the lessons hidden in your struggles but not what somebody else did or does in the same struggles.”

We should have people of reference for learning purposes only. What I mean is that no problem is ever new, so the way people ahead of us have faced them but had a different manifestation from ours we should understand that they solved them differently, but never force what our paths to be as theirs.

Life is always a piece of everything you experience never let the piece that you pick from some point be the masterpiece of your story. Take it as a piece and not a masterpiece.

Never force your path on someone’s path. Love your struggles and they will loosen up for ya.

What do people say of who you are

What kind of face do people see you in

When one needs to get a job he or she gets to prepare a very good CV that will convince the employer to have them employed. Apart from the career CVs that we fight for to make them better to get our jobs we do not have to forget that we have our life CVs as well to create.

Have you ever got to ask yourself on what people say about you, talk of you, see you? What kind of face are you seen In by the people around you, society, friends, family? What kind of CV are you writing or preparing for them to talk good of ?

We struggle creating good CVs for our careers but we forget that we also need to create good CVs in our lifes too. The good Book says “it’s better a good name than a good scent”. So what name are you making, what face are you trying to show to people. Is it that one which every one gets to point fingers on you, despise you and speak.bad of you or is it that one which people get to speak good of you and get to create or make a good reputation in front and to everyone around you.

Lets take an example of you dying today, imagine yourself attending your own funeral, you get see people crying, sobbing, people in pain just bcoz you are gone. When it reaches that time when they get to start reading or saying about you, what would you like to hear, as a daughter or son, nephew or niece, husband or wife, friend, work partner, what would you want to hear from them saying of you? All this is prepared here, now right this moment with whoever you are with, the way you live with them, talk to them, help them, take them with their weaknesses, deal with them so on and so forth. This kind of CV is worth living, create one to live a good memory. Live by creating that face or name or CV to be remembered and not forgotten. You’ll still get to live after leaving.

Bless up.
