Opposite: demolish, destroy,

make stronger or more intense.
“we built up confidence in our abilities”

Similar: boost, strengthen, increase, improve, invigorate, augment, raise, intensify, enhance, escalate, multiply, swell, beef up

the proportions of a person’s or animal’s body.
“she was of medium height and slim build”

Similar: physique, frame, body, figure,form, structure, shape, make-up, formation

All the above is inspired by a line of statement on a very good lovely friend I have, build or break that she wrote on her timeline.

In life we get alot of things that troubles us, I can share what I go through or even If we had a dialogue of what you going through honestly without any secrecy,I know I’ll hear alot from you.

Let’s not talk about that but what you go through can either BUILD or BREAK.

In college, there is an allowance offered by the government to students and most of the students are given the same amount of money for the whole semester. The money comes into two portion.

Most of us we are facing the financial balance difficulties but what makes us going is the fact that there is next time in two months and you’ll get money.

The situation of waiting builds  most of us into a stage of planning and placing of budget so that when the money comes it will be effectively. That’s to most of us

But in life everything may be off balance and everything hitting you may seem new to you and you thinking that everything is after you to break you..

Financial problems, health issues, social troubles,spiritual difficulties and many more these are many in the list of things that can really question  your mentality and make you feel broken. 

They say anything that doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, that’s what we should take out of any situation, we are here not for a smooth life, but to be tested and to know our limits.

Inorder to live and reach the point to know our capabilities we have to undergo the processes that will break us into ways we can’t even understand, but it’s in these situations we learn to build ourselves up better and stronger.

The good book says, no challenge comes to you too heavy for you to handle,  and through every challenge there is an exit. We need to build ourselves through challenges.

For the challenges are there to stay, they can’t go away all by them selves but through solving them. Just like building a LEGO one block at a time, so is the same as tackling challenges one problem at a time..

Who Are You ?

Somebody came up to me and said who you’re, the question was very hard to answer but inorder to answer the person, I wanted to see from their point of view, what or how much they think (key point think) they know me.

See the people around you can never understand or know you to the 100 percent level, because from time to time it depends on what they are viewing you from..

I wouldn’t place the answer they gave for my personal sanity because its something  I didn’t except to get from them. Put from there I learnt there are alot of definitions of Who you Are to the people around you.

Never expect to get a clear and uniform answer from the people around you. You’re not a mathematics question thay your answer will always be constant,  you ain’t pie (3.14) that you will always be constantly getting same answer to people, I know its confusing though one of you but the answer are infinite..

On  an intro of one of the songs in my playlist it was actually a spoken word by Dorah, she outline several ways that people can define you. Just simple question WHO ARE YOU? can have a infinite answer mind you from the other people point of view.. 

People define us on how they do Comparison between us and them, success, worth and strength or the way we appear, or the behaviour we show them or our weakness, what we can’t offer to them get us defined or what we work on or the Money and net worth we have. All this causes the infinite ♾ definition on who we are , but they ain’t answers.

Even parents themselves have a predefined definition of who you are , they want to have a perfect picture of you, that sweet lovely young kid they hard before you in your teenage..

The people Point of view doesn’t matter but what matters is what you think you are, an ancient quote said “Be careful for how you say or speak to yourself because the samurai inside will be mannered by it”.

That is to say your mind is a samurai, samurai where an elite soldiers to get the job done by that time,  they can be compared with the navy seals, the point is the mind is a powerful place what you tell it can affect it greatly..

We are not defined by how we look,make, create, or work on, the difference is what defines us . What really define us or answers who you are, lies on YOU. You get to define yourself whether you get a straight strong definition or answer on who you’re or let people answer that and let that sink the samurai inside ..

Chill,Graduate. (Parte I)

The problem starts with the point of views, as you grow up the point of views change.

Have you asked yourself why as you grow and your grades become simpler but hard to get, well ask a kid what’s his or her grade in grade I or II, you’ll find out that it ranges over 90-100. That’s very normal.

As time goes on the idea of grades start to fall and this is okay to us, but hard to our parents and guardians.

They get unpleased with our fall in grades, to such a point that we force ourselves to fit in their dreams.

Case I: Scenarios to many people that are on my circle start when they are passionate with something else and forced to study with something else, the bad thing is that you grow accepting what you are doing without loving it, just to satisfy your guardians. In the long run when it comes to stand on your own you’re clouded with the feeling that it wasn’t your decision so you dont have to struggle hard to get a job, just to show them the I TOLD YOU SO FACE…

Case II: too much expectation Previous love with a certain hobby but as time goes on your hobbies are gone, you develop new interest but you find yourself in confusion simply because your hobbies made you make a choice that by the time you realise it can’t be change you’re already late. And thus when you’re done studying for you have nothing but hate and useless certification.

Case III: Our guardians definition of how life is in the university against our real life that we live. The point of views change, education system change and the education system is a fixed deduction system, what I mean is that its created to force people out, I did a piece about our education system

But also today I was reading a system whereby the life at school and university doesn’t match the real life situations and hence it’s hard for us graduates and students to adopt a new lifestyle over 21 years or 18years developed habits created by studying ..

The 18-21 years are the years that we spend in school. And the years are covered by hectic assignments, teachers and students beefs, unsupportive circle and fear of real world ..

Speak not, burdened yes.

In life not everyone will understand you not even those close to you will understand. There some events or even activities that may seem random they just appear to pop on your side.

At this moment its not easy to identify the lessons that comes with the situation that you’re inside and boom you think like the world is not on your side.

Moments like this are always tough to handle, and it’s easy to find an anchor point a person or a place or thing just to dump all what you feel to them. I dont say it’s not fine to un- burden what you feel, but on how you unburden it and to who.

We all are living in this world that since day one has never fail to surprise us with alot of unplanned and uncoordinated events and since you are alive just know you are subjected to majanga ( tragedies will just come).

The point that am making you carrying something that is hard to be spoken to others or to entrust your neighbours with that doesn’t mean you have to go through it alone or to live with it thinking like you’re the only one with it.

When things are too heavy you are not alone and you should be careful on to how you place yourself or explain yourself from others

Growing Up in sleep (PT 1)

Never in my life have I ever hated to sleep except while growing up were I thought life was not fair in terms of me being forced to sleep as the highest stage of me being hated (my presence bothering people so the punishment was going to bed) and them covering it up was me sleeping daily to bring up a routine.

That notion always build several lessons and am going to share with you some of them..

1. Nothing is permanent, this is a common spoken phrase that we usually live with it, in swahili its modified to kwani dunia yote ni yetu, hayadumu. It was in the range of from 4years old towards 12 years, after that I quickly forgot how to sleep in the afternoon.

This tells you how things tend to change even of it won’t happen in an abrupt moment but will always change.

2. Your past will always have a way in your future, but regrets isn’t an option to run too. In this time as am grown, not that am old now but am grown just know that, the feeling of needing to be told to sleep in the afternoon comes to my mind but I dont get the time to have to sleep peacefully without of interruption from my busy schedule.

We learn to live with the facts what’s done can’t be undone. And so Is some facts maybe almost every aspect in life is tied on that aspect we learn and move but not regret.

3. Standard can be raised and lowered at the same time. The sleeping habit was a standard place and all kids of my age were supposed to sleep a specific time and specific interval. It was like a pattern that our guardians adopted and we had to live with it..

In life there are patterns that we have place for ourselves we have to reexamine them so as to make our life change at a positive pace.

4. Not everything is against you, sometimes it’s best for you, sleeping at the afternoon was great for our growth but on my side it was a torture, but so far it has helped me alot now I know, but back then it was a hell of a fight to put me in bed. Canes and sticks, slippers and even wires were the only method that could put me in bed .

In life we have to learn that not all or everything that comes your way is against you sometimes its for your own good, learn to embrace situations as they pass by simply because not we are tough but because we know there are lessons to learn and also they ain’t permanent.

Reasons to reasoning…

we walk we the philosophy that everything happens for a reason and we stick on it and generating or joining dots that all that comes after was a big picture from the action that occurred earlier.

what if not everything goes as planned and we fail getting to the bigger picture.

so does it mean even our personal failure to approach a certain task is planned ??

well am not here to judge but lets works on some smaller concept that we build our believe on everything happens for a reason, well some do but rest from the some are not happening because its planned or reason.

our ignorance on certain issues shouldn’t give us the confidence to say so.

for a car to move you need fuel and we expect that if the fuel goes low or empty the car will not move . now we mostly let the fuel empty expecting that the car to keep on running or going.

lets replace this philosophy, and the reason so is because the problems or difficulties you face it’s because someone fail to play his or her part very well..

example you get bitten by a snake that’s a problem, you got bitten you won’t say there is a reason but it was a failure of a person who once saw the snake and failed to kill it saying that its too small or it hasn’t harm me.

so you see any problem you can think of it is because of a failure of someone else and the failure was probably or most even caused by a person saying it happened for a reason.

we all are ignorant or lazy on some matters we should learn to minimize our laziness to a minimal degree and stop saying things happen for a reason .

Mind Block

The pass few weeks have been in a state called writer’s block.

imagine it has when you drive or ride a car and you come to a dead end, or a point that you can’t go forward as the way you were going or think you would go.

so by definition given by Google, hehehe writers block is a condition, primarily associated with writing
in which an author loses the ability to produce new work or experiences a creative slowdown. This loss of ability to write and produce new work is not a result of commitment problems or the lack of writing skills. The condition ranges from difficulty in coming up with original ideas to being unable to produce a work for years. Writer’s block is not solely measured by time passing without writing. It is measured by time passing without productivity in the task at hand.

I’ve been falling to this situation not once not twice but more times than i remember and the funny part is that this is not a disease but its a mental state, its all in the head.

I’ve been having titles to many articles and even some of them writings half a paragraph then stuck but others only a single word, which it always works when i have noted down a single word ideas falls through and i start writing down but when in WB I mostly find myself staring at my notepad with no words to write down..

what i wanna show you is in the backstage to all our articles they lay alot of unpublished articles.

Some few times i usually pick my kid brother from school and in his school they have this tap where they drink the water, as i was taking him off school to home i felt thirsty and decided to go drink some water in found a very long line so i decided to join it and off it started to move slowly till it was my turn. as i was moving along it opened my eyes as if the people in front of me and behind me they were all unfinished projects.

they’re unfinished projects until the primary goal of drinking water has been completed, the line showed me i was that all projects were leading to the same goal so i should learn to make them move one at a time and also see them through one at a time not to hesitate. and if it reaches to a point that i should pile them up pile em in a manner that you can work them out to the end to the end.

See in life we come into deadblocks because of just piling alot of things in our plates thinking that its easy to just place them some where but in the end we have alot to handle all because of piling them up.

learn to regulate what is on your plate as what comes in your mind and execute on thing to the end never be fast to procrastinate what you have in your mind.

Life, Love, Levels

There are three key points that are guaranteed to you to live a smooth life. Am not saying having a smooth life but living a smooth life.

see, many of us are not happy with how life is right now and we end blaming people not knowing we are responsible for our own lives

living a smooth life means you can still have troubles but you can live as if troubles are not part of your routine. But having a smooth life means not having troubles at all. Now what i mean is how do we live when all seems off and not in our favor.

So let me ask you this. What do you do when you face alot in your plate and don’t have courage to eat it all.

what do you do when you ask for meat and life brings you stones.

sometimes its easy to blame than to know the right purpose of the situation your facing.

Life
Life has no gender, never bias and will never be fair to those lamenting. if you think that because of the wealth that you have or the number of people you’re connected with will make life to look aside for you to have the better side of it then you ate wrong. life will never be as we imagine it to be.

love.
we have our notion on how and the what love is and how to love, who do we love . some people have put on standards to what you love and hate. not a judge but let me tell you having a smooth life means realising all the hatred you have  built in your hearts, learn to appreciate people for the positive stories and forgive the negatives but in the process of laying a room a specific distance, show them its not everyone think they can hurt you then come back to the place They previous position they left off….

Levels.
we are all equal but we got a variance in our abilities to convert time also known as time conversion, we all have 24hours a day but we use the hours differently so if you ever wanna envy someone for his or her success just know its all your mindset of approaching the concept of time conversion. you want to he successful or you want a smooth life then just examine your 24 hours what do you do with them.

All in all the key is to work on having a life that is not a burden or life that is not full of drama, know when to forgive and never carry a grudge, love people with no reason, hate none, just know you also have a shot to the top..

Sometime Let Go

Take a lesson from trees and its seasons

Come think of it our lives are similar or based on the life season of a tree, the benefits that a tree gives to the environment is the same as what we give to the surrounding. I am not saying you’re a tree but you can be and you should be a tree. Follow the season or life span of the tree. Simply because there are common traits we can relate from the life of a tree

The basic importance of the trees are many but some they give fruits, shades and give fresh air to the environment. Trees are very important to the earth since they give shades Some people find comfort not only to stay or have a person as a go-to person but some even secret keeper, soulmates, BFF – blessed friends forever, and more. These are basically the trees that offer shade, they provide comfort

Gives fresh air to the surrounding. Some people find wisdom and even great teachings from various people we call them personal trainers, guru, mentors, and life coaches. We are ready to settle down and listen to them for hours. They are considered trees that give fresh air.

Some trees provide fruits. Remember few posts back (https://bsafrique.home.blog/2020/04/20/realise-your-potential) we talked of a seed, just as tree comes from seeds that they have died and come out from the ground and hustled to bear fruits. The whole process is not a thing to see overnight but the process is for a long time

Now the tree teaches us the patience that what we are building now, the work or the things we do now are not a guarantee of overnight success, we normally think that there are shortcuts to success and we rush to take an easy way out of which there is no easy way out. Success starts from scratch just as the seed goes to the ground dies and starts growing from the dead seed. And you are in a corner lamenting why things are not moving it’s because that the seed you planted is on the stage of dying so it can start one.

You are a tree to someone either they are looking at you for shade or fruits, you are a tree. You are a solution to someone else your hard work will be the fruits we are talking about to your kids, parents, and even society. You preach about change and you are just there doing nothing. You’re a tree we want fruits from you. Be the change you want to see.

Sometimes the trees shade their leaves. This is an important concept that I want to run by you today. You as a tree it will reach a time that the fruits that you make have to fall off and even the leaves (People who are around you or you surround yourself with) sometimes you have to let them Go, detach yourself from them, for every season it comes you have to update your circle some people if they stick with you or you hold yourself to them they will drain you up and you will fail to survive the change of the season ahead of you.

Be careful with what you carry for leaves and what you bear as fruits, the fruits you bear now are the result of what you handled your self to stir them up the way the will or have become or come. Lamenting is a word in a dictionary of losers the way you are right now is a perfect role model picture for someone. Someone is looking up to you so never give up.
